RECYCLING METALS:
LOOKING THE POSSIBILITIES OF THIS.
SUCH AS RECYCLING ALUMINIUM WHICH IS 80 - 85%
RECYCLABLE.
THE IDEA OF USING COPPER:
LOOKING AT THE VARIOUS FINISHES
AVAILABLE WHEN IT COMES TO
COPPER...
THE FOLLOWING COPPER SAMPLES ARE
FROM A SUPPLIER CALLED 'COLOUR COPPER' IN AMERICA AND ARE USED
TO DEMONSTRATE SOME OF THE DIFFERENT FINISHES
POSSIBLE TO ATTAIN WITH COPPER.
THE FOLLOWING TWO SAMPLES ARE
LACQUERED COPPER SAMPLE ON A MDF BACKING.
THINKING OF USING THIS FINISH FOR THE POINT OF
SALE DESK.
THE FOLLOWING ARE
NON LACQUERED SAMPLES:
THESE TWO SAMPLE IMAGES ARE DONE
BY AN ARTIST AND SHOWS JUDST HOW
BEAUTIFULLY EXTENSIVE COPPER
CAN BE TREATED.
THESE ARE THE EFFECTS I WOULD LIKE TO
IMPLEMENT (COMBINED IN ONE) IN MY RETAIL
STORE DESIGN ON PAPER.
CROCHET COPPER DESIGN...
THIS LOOKS INTERESTING BUT NOT SURE
IF I WOULD IMPLEMENT IT IN MY DSIGN...
MAYBE IT COULD BE A GREAT WALL OR CEILING FEATURE...?
NOT SURE...
ANODISED ALUMINIUM SAMPLE IMAGE
ANODISED SIMILAR TO PATINA.
WOULD LIKE TO IMPLEMENT IT AS A SIDE FINISH
ON MY MEZZANINE FLOOR WHERE THE FIXED SEATING
IS SITUATED...JST BELOW THE BALUSTRADE
(SEE RENDERED PERSPECTIVES).
PATINA SAMPLE FROM 'BENCHMARK'
I WOULD LIKE TO USE IT AS A FINISH
FOR MY WINDOW FRAMES.
RECLAIMED WOOD...HOW BEAUTIFUL IS THIS NOT.
WOULD LIKE TO USE RECLAIMED WOULD LIKE THIS
ADAPTED TO THE COLOUR SCHEME OF MY DESIGN.
WANT TO USE RECLAIMED WOOD FOR BEHIND AND POSSIBLY
AROUND THE POINT OF SALE DESK ON THE FLOOR.
THIS WOULD BE AN INTERESTING DESIGN
FOR A FEATURE WALL USING WHITE LUCCON
AND BACK LIT BY ARUP LIGHTING. THE LIGHTING SYSTEM SHOULD
SLOWLY CREATE DIFFERENT SHAPES AND COLOURS LIKE PEICES OF FABRIC BEHIND IT.
LUCCON
WOULD LIKE TO USE WHITE LUCCON ON MY WALLS,
FIXED SEATING AND SOME PARTS OR ALL OF MY GROUND FLOOR
AND STAIRCASE... WITH THE LIGHTING SYSTME APPEARING LIKE IT
IS MOVING ACROSS THESE AREAS SLOWLY GENERATING PATTERNS
LIKE PEICES OF FABRIC FLOATING ACROSS IT.
SEE THE FOLLOWING IMAGES TO SEE WHAT EFFECTS GREY
LUCCON CAN GIVE.
I MAY ALSO STAIN THE WHITE CONCRETE A COPPER BROWN OR
TO A SHADE THAT WILL GO WITH MY DESIGN.
USING RECYCLED GLASS ... REMELTED INTO NEW DESIGNS THAT I CAN USE IN MY DESIGN.
BUT IN SOME CASE AS A MIX OF TURQUOISE, BLUE,
QUESTION IS CAN BEAUTIFUL DESIGN BE ATTAINED
BY DOING THIS?
